CADIDL 2025 SHANGHAI & NANJING POP UP

DESIGN EVENT

SIXSIX STUDIO 为 CADIDL 打造「WOMAN OF THE WORLD 智雅随行」流动快闪体验,项目先后落地南京与上海,涵盖视觉系统、空间设计、CGI Teaser Video 及现场执行。

SIXSIX STUDIO created the “WOMAN OF THE WORLD” traveling pop-up experience for CADIDL, launched in both Nanjing and Shanghai. The project covered the visual system, spatial design, CGI teaser videos, and on-site execution.

Inspired by the curved structure of New York’s TWA Flight Center, the concept translated the 1960s imagination of “future travel” into a modern women’s business travel experience: light, fluid, efficient, and structured. Responding to the different site conditions in Nanjing and Shanghai, we developed two spatial variations from one core design, allowing the pop-up to travel across cities and adapt to different environments. Beyond serving as a product launch and brand experience space, the Shanghai edition also functioned as part of the runway circulation. The spatial structure was designed not only for display and interaction, but also to guide the rhythm of audience entry, movement, and viewing, turning the pop-up into an integral part of the show experience. From invitations, banners, and posters to the AI-generated airport screen backdrop on site, the project built a consistent business travel visual language, creating a travel-inspired brand experience for the CADIDL woman.

The project first launched in Nanjing, where we designed an independent, enclosed structure for an outdoor setting. But when the same concept was brought to Shanghai New World Daimaru, the site conditions were completely different.
The outdoor space required enclosure, weather resistance, and a standalone volume, while the indoor space called for open visibility, multiple circulation paths, and more photo-friendly angles.
So we decided to “cut open” the pop-up.Light, movement, and perspective were reshaped. The original edges became display surfaces, and the cut openings turned into new photo windows. One concept, two different expressions.
